Richard Northey
After attending Bedford School Richard completed his BA in politics and history, then his MA in Law at the University of Bristol before co-founding a medical technology focused venture capital fund. Moving into the Investment Management field he joined the front office of Barclays Private Clients and subsequently HSBC Investment Management. Having joined Humphrys Education Richard is responsible for liaising with clients and schools, and conducting extensive research to find the best possible placement to match the clients' requirements.

William Pickwell
William Pickwell was educated at Fettes College and Knox Academy, Edinburgh. He went on to Seale-Hayne, a faculty of the University of Plymouth at Newton Abbot where he gained an honours degree in Rural Estate Management. He enjoyed his sport and achieved a high level at rugby playing for Schools, Club, County, District and for Scotland’s International under 18’s and 21’s. He sang in the School Choirs, and was an active participant in the ACF, along with duties as a Prefect.
After University William worked assisting the Agents at Hatfield and Cranborne Estates for the Marquess of Salisbury, before taking a position with Cluttons in Glasgow. He then moved down to Cumbria and worked for an independent firm of land agents and the Lowther family on the Lowther Estates.
William relocated in 2004 to Gloucestershire to be near his wife’s family farm having himself come from a farming background and at the same time making a career change retraining as a Driving Instructor and establishing his own driving School as part of a franchise for a large UK company. Before leaving the industry to join Humphrys’ Education he was not only teaching his own pupils but also managing and training new instructors throughout the midlands area. At Humphrys’ Education William will be responsible for liaising with schools, nurseries and our clients, to establish from the outset the right choice for every child.
